The surface above the cooker requires an assessment of the device, the cross-section, and the manner of room use. This also applies to a seasonal cottage with a wooden structure. Attaching a resistant panel does not independently determine the temperature of the hidden wood or the operating conditions of the complete installation.
Start with the device requirements
Check the approved location for using the cooker, the required clearances, and openings. Show the ceiling materials and adjacent parts on the drawing. The heat shield does not replace the requirements for venting combustion products and ventilation of the gas appliance.
Do not choose the location by test-heating a random surface. If the cross-section or method of installation is unknown, determine it before selecting the material. The mere appearance of the wood after short use does not confirm the conditions of the entire structure.
Determine the function of the board
HT Fireboard has described protective and surface applications. Fireplace Construction Board CS is another board intended for specific indoor fireplace constructions. Do not select them as identical shields based solely on the sheet size.
The weight of the panel installed above the user requires proper fastening. HB60 has its own range of compatible connections. The adhesive does not confirm arbitrary ceiling installation on any substrate; documentation of the solution for this location is required.
Check accessibility after finishing
Mark connections and required inspection points. The finishing layer should not cover openings or hinder equipment operation. Consider potential moisture and the method of surface cleaning as well.
Keep the drawing, device data, and information about installed products. When changing the cooker or ceiling, return to the overall assessment. The Vitcas material is selected based on the confirmed function in the system, not as a general approval for any device under a wooden ceiling.
